We are now looking for an experienced FINANCE MANAGER join our team based in Johor Baru. If you are a finance processional with extensive understanding of all resort operations, finance, possess exceptional leadership and co-ordination skills, we would love to hear from you. As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role as the financial advisor to our management team, working closely with the Managing Director, Resident Manager and department heads to ensure the seamless integration of accounting and operations procedures. The Finance Manager at Batu Batu serves as a member of the Executive Committee who assists the management team with the day-to-day operations of the resort and helps formulate operating policies. Key responsibilities : Act as the financial advisor to the management team, providing valuable insights and recommendations for financial decisions. Maintain strong relationships with various department heads and align accounting procedures with operational needs. Analyse financial data, prepare reports, and present findings to the management team for informed decision-making. Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management to optimize financial performance. Maintain compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards, ensuring accurate financial record keeping and adherence to all regulatory deadlines. Provide management accounts on monthly basis and lead monthly P&L meetings. Prepare audit reports and liaise with auditors for annual audit. Manage a team of accounts officers and executives, both off and on island. Skills & Qualifications: Qualified or qualifying accountants with pursuing a Degree in CPA/CIMA/ACCA or MIA from a recognized university. Candidates without the prerequisite qualification but with relevant accounting experience will also be considered. Technically strong in finance, tax and accounting Minimum 8-10 years of experience at a senior financial management level Technically strong in accounting knowledge and overall finance functions including financial and cost management, budgeting, cash flow management, internal controls, risk management and etc. Highly organized, disciplined and able to multi-task and work under pressure within tight deadlines. Possess good leadership skills, proactive, energetic and resourceful. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Good accounting and controlling skills. Excellent in Microsoft Office. Required language (s): English and Bahasa Malaysia. Have minimum 2 years\' experience in auditing.
