Job Description


Job Responsibility Managing the budget processes, inclusive of periodic forecasting for the business and ensuring complete, accurate, and timely financial forecasting. Responsible for the planning, and budgeting of the performance and cash flow for the Group. Preparing reports on the financial status or progress of projects to upper management. Ensure that the preparation of financial statements, annual reports, and tax submissions (direct, indirect, transfer pricing) are done accurately and on time. Responsible for mapping out end-to-end business and finance flows across companies and identifying process gaps and conducting process improvement/re-engineering. Work closely both internally and externally with the stakeholders to drive results and ensure the teams are working within a budget, delivering projects on time, in scope, quality management, and keeping within the contract. Negotiating terms of loans and other financial transactions with lenders and other parties. Ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded in the company s accounting system. Develop appropriate process improvement, and internal control policies to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported across companies. Ensure compliance with government regulations across business operations including areas of tax, legislation, bank Negara, statutory rules & regulations, SSM, and laws in Malaysia. Explore and source for new tax incentives/grants. Liaise and coordinate with the auditor, tax agents, banks, government, and other statutory bodies. Invest Group cash surplus in high-yielding deposit and money marketing. Determining which investments are profitable based on interest rates, market conditions, and other factors. Perform ad hoc analysis and duties as and when required on an accurate and timely basis. Job Requirements Degree in Accounting or Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ PA member) At least 6 years of relevant experience in accounting, consolidation, taxation, finance, audit, or business finance consulting, preferably in the telco industry. Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills with a firm, decisive and mature personality. High integrity, self-motivated, performance-driven, and a team player. Able to lead a team towards proper execution of strategies and plans in realizing organizational objectives.
