Job Description

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting, or an equivalent qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or CP A , highlighting a commitment to professional excellence.
• 5 - 8 years of practical experience in finance and accounting, establishing a solid foundation for strategic financial management.
• Proficient in MFRS/IFRS, local tax regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to simplify complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
• 5.5 working days (Saturday Alternate)

Responsibilities

• Monitor monthly management accounts and yearly financial reports to ensure compliance with statutory and accounting regulations.
• Responsible for the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.
• Ensure that the full set of accounts is properly maintained and facilitate a smooth year-end audit process.
• Monitor sales collection efficiency and ensure all receipts and collection reports are accurately maintained in the books.
• Liaise with suppliers, the company secretary, tax agents, bankers, and third parties regarding payments, credit card and merchants, and other banking matters.
• Coordinate, resolve, and follow up on inter-departmental issues.
• Ensure accuracy of sales invoices and official receipts, and follow up on trade debtor collections.
• Monitor, process, and review staff claims and petty cash claims.
• Properly maintain all accounting transactions in the accounting software.
• Maintain and improve the filling system.
• Manage a team of 10 finance personnel. Responsible to provide guidance, motivation and enhance the team\'s productivity.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as assigned from time to time.
