Job Description


Position: Finance Manager (Group) Work location \xe2\x80\x93 Kuala Lumpur Job Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information 2. Predicting future financial and market trends and track the company\'s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement 3. Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc. 4. Bank reconciliation, cashflow forecast and management 5. Developing long-term business plans 6. Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets 7. Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk 8. Analysing market trends and competitors 9. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions 10. Review duties of financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants 11. Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary 12. Provide insightful information and expectations to management and stakeholders to aid in long-term and short-term decision making 13. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports 14. Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings 15. Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes 16. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company 17. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation. 18. Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take 19. Maintaining the overall financial health of the organization. 20. Travelling required. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field - MIA / ACCA membership - Minimum 5 years of related experience - Superior Mathematical Skills - Leadership Skills and Experiences - Employee Management Skills - Good understanding of data privacy standards - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Public speaking skills - Deep understanding of business principles and practices - Exceptional attention to detail - Organisational skills, planning skills, research skills, analytical skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, computer skills, multi-tasking abilities - Values \xe2\x80\x93 High level of integrity and honesty.
