JOB DESCRIPTION : -
Ensure all monthly closing transaction is accurate and close in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain proper and accurate recording of financial transactions, inclusive prepayment amortisation / accrual & provision / expenses reclass & allocation, be highly organized and able to meet deadlines.
Ensure all supplier invoices were booked and paid.
Ensure all billings were raised and collected.
Ensure all ICO transactions and balances are reconcile on monthly basis.
Ensure to meet all month end closing activities or checklist.
Ensure transactions were booked with compliance of SSC processes and procedures.
Review monthly balance sheet reconciliation and resolve or follow up on any open or un-reconciled items.
Manage to work closely with external Auditor (KPMG) and Tax Agent (PwC) on local statutory report.
Review processes and maintain internal controls.
Provide guidance and assistance pertaining financial matters to other BSO department, finance lead and business.
Be proactive and ensure BSO processes and controls are followed as per BSO Policy and SOX requirement.
Maintain a strong financial control environment and ensure timely escalation and remediation of any control deficiencies identified.
Manage stakeholder expectations by liaising with management from the Business & Country/Divisional Finance Directors.
Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring overall company objectives/performances are achieved.
Strong team player, capable and confident to drive for continual improvement.
Responsible and self-motivated.
Handle ad hoc assignments or report assigned by BSO Global Finance team.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: -
Degree in Accounting/Finance or Accounting qualifications will be an added advantage (CPA,ACCA)
Minimum 8-10 years\' experience in the relevant field preferably from shared service environment
Possess knowledge of operation of control frameworks such as SOX
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders - internal such as finance lead / employees and external as auditors / tax agent
Ability to liaise and connect with finance teams / business teams to deliver desired outcomes
Experience in operating within a Large Global organisation and Matrix environment
Able to work in challenging environment with high adaptability
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor\'s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field. Requires a minimum of six years related experience to include at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Public accounting experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
CPA or MBA (graduate degree) preferred, but not required (depending on experience).
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain/report activity. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. Broad, in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), concepts. SEC reporting experience desired (depending on the specific finance role).
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to independently research complex accounting transactions/issues. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning. Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful. Strong work ethic and adaptable.
