JOB DESCRIPTION The finance manager plays a vital role in overseeing financial management and accounting operations. This position requires strong accounting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable and journal entries, and ad-hoc assignments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. Review and reconcile financial statements and accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Assist in preparing comprehensive financial reports for local and regional as well as global reporting. Collaborate with local and regional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing financial data to assist in planning and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, financial institutions, consultants, authorities, and statutory bodies. Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations, direct and indirect taxes regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and driving process improvements. Assist and support formulating and recommend accounting and administrative policies and procedures for the company. Provide training, guidance, and support to subordinate staff, to monitor and review their performance to ensure KPI achievement and maintain reasonable quality of work. CANDIDATE PROFILE/JOB AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent / Professional Accounting Qualification A minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulations (including US GAAP). Able to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Thoroughness. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Sound IT skills to summarize detailed financial data into reports (Microsoft Office). Resilience.
