You will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance in Malaysia office, based in Petaling Jaya.Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and overseeing full spectrum of finance for entities in the group.
• Supervising and hands-on management of GL, Treasury and AP team.
• Active involvement in hiring, coaching, training and mentoring of team members.
• Work closely and managing global stakeholders and handle ad-hoc analysis and projects assigned.
• Review and improve SOPs, systems implementation and collaborate with IT team to improve system processes.
• Lead the annual audit and tax matters.
• Assist in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• MUST be professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant financial reporting and people management experience, with a career foundation in a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong proficiency in IFRS is a must.
• Possess strong critical thinking, detailed oriented and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and effective communication skills in English.
