Job Description

Responsibilities:

To plan, lead and control the account, finance and credit functions. This will include statutory reporting, corporate governance, management reporting, credit budgeting and forecasting for the company and its subsidiary

Key tasks include Financial Analysis, Internal control, review accounting policy and practice

Implementation of company (group) Financial and Accounting related systems, policies and procedures

Prepare Management Accounting, product costing, taxation, cash flow and ensure timely and accurate reporting

Liaise with external parties such as audit, tax agents, company secretary and bankers

Work closely with Investment bank for various corporate proposal

Develop, train, motivate and work delegation and appraisal of subordinates

Overall responsible for the accounts of the operating companies

Responsible for preparation of full set accounts & tax matters

Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closing

Perform reconciliation of accounts payable, receivable, bank, stock and inter-company balances

Perform P&L, Balance Sheet, product costing analysis and stock management

Maintain proper filing and housekeeping of financial records including fixed assets registers

To ensure the accounts payable, bank reconciliation, journals and general functions are performed in an effective and efficient manner

Prepare monthly accounts and cash flow statements, various monthly management reports

Involve in project accounting process to ensure accurate allocation and tracking of project costs

Involve in development of SOP, process flow and internal controls

Able to meet deadliness on management reports, cash flow and budget

Perform monthly inventories count, procurements and those related to operations.

Perform ad-hoc task as and when required.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Candidate must be a member of MIA.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.

Preferably with management experience in taxation, costing and audit experience.
