They are now a multi-national conglomerate with businesses in a diverse range of industries, among them, construction, property development and international projects.Job Responsibilities:

  • \xef\xbb\xbfImplement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
  • Provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.
  • Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the
department. * Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for prevention of work-related injury and ill health in the department.
  • Promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the organisation.
  • Promote customer focus and improvement in the department.
  • Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
  • Report on performance of QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management.
  • Undertake corporate fund management which includes developing, reviewing and
implementing financial plans to meet fund requirements of the company. * Formulate and implement financial and accounting methods and procedures, including internal control system for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance & Accounts Department.
  • Supervise and coordinate all the accounting functions of the Finance & Accounts
Department. * Ensure timely submission of the accounting and management reports in compliance to \xef\xbb\xbfthe legal and other requirements and accounting standards.
  • \xef\xbb\xbfVerify all accounting transactions and to ensure compliance of internal policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax agent, financial institutions and legal advisors on all financial and accounting matters.
  • Liaise with parent company and coordinate with government governing institutions on all issues relating to financial matters of the company.
  • Undertake all administrative duties within set authority limits.
  • Supervise, monitor, appraise and train subordinates of the team.
  • Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
\xef\xbb\xbfJob Requirements:
  • \xef\xbb\xbfA recognised Degree in Accounting and Finance/Professional qualification such as ACCA/MACPA/CIMA/its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience in managing all aspects of financial and accounting functions.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfDynamic, independent and possess good managerial and analytical skills.
  • Preferable a member of MIA/ACCA/MACPA/CIMA.
  • Full Time/Fixed Term Contract.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfOffice based. Traveling is required.
