Job Description

To assist the Director of Finance overseeing the overall management of the Finance function of the company. Responsibilities: To assist the Director of Finance overseeing the overall management of the Finance function of the company, includes the Group Accounting Policy & Procedures, Project Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax Planning, Statutory Reporting and Secretarial Matters. Analyze financial information, forecast annual budget, business industry economic conditions, for the input to the management of the company and later for the Board Directors of the company. To conduct due diligence for any business initiatives within the company when required. Provides strategic financial input on decision-making issues affecting the Group (i.e. evaluation of potential alliances, investments, tax planning and relevant laws). Actively reviewing the internal controls and processes for enhancements whenever there are changes to the systems, new business segments and suggest ways to mitigate risk or fraud and errors. Review of agreements, letters and contracts. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification, or its equivalent. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field. Working knowledge of budgets and cash flows and also treasury management functions. Knowledge of Malaysian tax law will be an added advantage. Ensure timely productions of monthly accounts and reports. Good communication skills in English and Malay. Knowledge in computerized accounting system, preferably in Auto Count Accounting System. Planning for the overall improvement and efficiency of the department. Highly self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail.
