**In charge of the full set of bookkeeping of entities in Malaysia including financial and month-end reporting. Ensure that all financial reporting packages are reviewed for accuracy and completeness prior to reporting to local management or Head Office. **Review all balance sheet schedules, income statement-related schedules, and proper reconciliation of sub-ledgers with main ledgers. Work with the team to investigate and follow up on discrepancies and implement countermeasures to prevent future recurrence. **Review FRS 115 revenue recognition workings to ensure the budgeted and actual/accrued numbers are properly supported. **Conduct internal checking on project costing to ensure accuracy of cost capturing as well as accruals of major expenses. **Review all JV/DN/CN issuance and posting in the accounting system. **Review SST and another tax-related submission to authorities. **Perform business segment/product/project profitability analysis. **Prepare monthly cash flow projection. **Supervise and guide the team on all finance and operation-related matters. **Coordinate with Business Head and operations on budget/forecast-related report. **Review sales commission computation, staff claims and reimbursement and payment-related vouchers and approval according to DOA. **Responsible for timely statutory reporting, filing or submission to relevant regulatory authorities related to audit, taxation and corporate secretarial matters. **Assist in the rollout of the new ERP system and another related system (s). Qualifications/Experience: **Professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, MACPA, MICPA, ICEAW, CIMA, CPA or equivalent). **Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance/Accountancy. **Minimum 5 years working experience with at least 2 years of experience as a people manager. Big 4 accounting experience is a plus. **Possess leadership ability in leading a team of staff. **Strong IFRS accounting knowledge and experience. **Familiar with ERP system is an added advantage.
