Finance Planning & Forecasting Analyst

Job Description

We are currently looking for Finance Planning and Forecasting Analyst who will provide planning & forecasting support to either the Planning & Forecasting Lead or in-market Finance Director. You will also be responsible for challenging and finalising the monthly and annual forecasts for the market as well as preparing monthly management reports for the in-market FD to evaluate performance. You are also responsible to coordinate and consolidate financial forecasting information, ensuring that managerial financial reporting is performed, in time and in the forms required by Corporate guidelines, facilitating managerial decision making.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on in-market annual budget and communicate them to in-market finance team
  • Responsible for the preparation of Opex, A&P and cash flow forecast
  • Creating, updating and maintaining financial models to provide detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts for the market
  • Comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance (including price volume)
  • Preparing internal management reports (e.g. DRM, MPR) for executive leadership and supporting their decision making
  • Responsible to work with in-market finance team to finalise plan/forecasts/management reports
  • Responsible for managing the core commercial cycle and plan activities
  • Supporting ad hoc requests from in-market finance team or the FD
  • Participate and support continuous improvement initiatives

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, CPA/ACCA/CA/MBA desirable
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skill and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadline
