Job Description

Purpose Statement:Has responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating operations finance decision support activities. Acts as key business partner for plant and corporate teams. The position is responsible to provide planning, reporting and analytical support to Business Management team. The analyst will play a primary role in analytical and modeling support on key business activities and suggesting business opportunities for the best interest of Company. The analyst will have exposure to all aspects of the P&L.Key Responsibilities

• Responsible and highly committed person that always strive to deliver quality of work.
• Always challenge status quo, strong sense of continuously improvement and drive cost savings.
• Supporting value improvement projects in Penang. Represent Finance on various project teams and take a lead role within the team to drive improvements & cost savings.
• Responsible for identifying cost savings alternatives and assisting in managing spending within budget.
• Prepare and perform detailed modelling for the business and able to analyse opportunities and make recommendation to business partner on the financial feasibility in support of strategic planning
• Provides on-going support to in such areas as budget-to-actual analysis, periodic evaluation of standards (material, labor and overhead) and project accounting information.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least bachelor\'s degree in Accounting.
• Has professional certificate in ACCA/CPA will be preferable.
• At least 5 to 7 years working experience in multinational companies with manufacturing background and business improvement/CI job scope (preferable FP&A and costing knowledge)
• Audit background is preferable
• Possess strong analytical skills & business acumen.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Advanced excel and PowerPoint presentation skills are required.
• Work Mode: Onsite (Batu Kawan, Penang)
