Operation

Role Purpose

Dispatch all MH & FOCA flights in accordance to policies, rules and regulatory requirements for safe, legal and efficient operations

Key Accountability

----------------------


Support the Flight Crew for the safety and operational control of flights in progress from commencement to its termination. Investigate on overdue of any departures, enroute deviation or arrival delay exceeding 10 mins.
Analyze and evaluate meteorological information to determine potential hazards to safety of flight and to select the most desirable and economic route of flight.
Compute the amount of fuel required for the safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions and minimum fuel requirements prescribed by the company and regulatory body.
Monitor weather conditions, aircraft position reports, and aeronautical navigation charts to evaluate the progress of flight & update the pilot in command of significant changes to weather or flight plan and recommends flight plan alternates, such as changing course, altitude and, if required, enroute landings in the interest of safety and economy.
Flight Dispatchers must ensure all compulsory flight documentations is prepared and uplifted on all flights systemwide.

Qualification

Degree in any field of studies with at least 1 year experience in airline industry or Diploma with at least 2 years experience in airline industry.

Skills & Knowledge

1) Holder of Flight Dispatcher License authorized by DCA Malaysia conforming to ICAO FAA and JAA syllabus and standards will have an advantage.
2) Well versed with Windows - Words, Powerpoint, Excel
3) Must have strong analytical skills with strength on Mathematics / Physics
4) Able to work independantly
