Job Description


MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Finance Director and is responsible for managing the FP&A and operations of finance functions for Abbott Nutrition International (Malaysia). The position will provide financial leadership and drive continuous improvement in the areas of forecasting, budgeting, analysis and strategic planning. The FP&A Manager will also lead financial analyses and support strategic initiatives and collaborate with internal cross functional teams to implement best practices across Affiliate finance systems & processes. Main Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analyses - Manage financial planning processes for Annual Plan, Rolling Latest Best Estimate\'s (\'rLBE\') including analysis and commentary preparation. Work with Area to establish/communicate planning timelines and to coordinate reporting deliverables. Develop reporting & planning tools/templates for all diverse businesses based on management demand. Work with Area, Affiliate Department Heads to prepare and present rLBE and planning packages. Analyze current results and trends; identify areas for improvement to drive possible operating performance. Develop detailed financial modeling, forecasting and what-if scenarios Preparing P&L scenarios to forecast margin based on monthly demand forecast. Support ad hoc requests from Area, Division. Financial Reporting - Work with Internal Finance Organization and Commercial teams to understand/support actual bookings including accruals, cost variances and other bookings per international policies and procedures. Manage reporting of monthly financial performance, including variance analyses and commentary preparation. Enhance and standardize Affiliate dashboard for reporting of all key performance indicators. Develop and maintain analytical tools to better understanding profitability drivers and monitor operating performance and drive improvements Closely liaise with Sales and Marketing team in order to track and ensure financial commitment and expenditures are followed Highlight spending risks as well as propose actions to mitigate risks. Business Support - Identify business and financial risks/opportunities and communicate accordingly. Track and report financial impacts of key ANI established strategic initiatives. Support ad hoc requests from Area, Regions, Affiliate business functions / organizations. Qualifications Business, Economics or Finance degree qualification. MBA in Finance/Accounting is an advantage Experiences 7+ years of progressively increased responsibility in a financial lead or business analysis role in a multinational organization. FMCG/Pharmaceutical company exposure is preferred.
