Telescope Inspection is a professional company in the provision of services for Container Loading Inspection with focus on Trade Compliance Assurance Inspection and Pre-Shipment from Asian and Latin America origins to improve supply chain management. Main focus on Latin America, North America and Spain retail import market.Role DescriptionThis is a role for a freelance Loading Inspector. The Loading Inspector will be responsible for:- Going to factories and warehouse where cargo is ready to be loaded into the containers around Port of Tanjung Pelepas area.- Inspecting the goods and supervise the proper container loading of shipments.- Communicating with logistics personnel and shipping teams to ensure proper procedures are being followed.- Check cargo against shipping documents.- Take photographic evidence of products and shipping containers.- Reporting any discrepancies and relevant matters that happen during loading such as:

• Weather conditions (temperature and humidity on site, rain or snow).

• Visible damaged cartons or goods.

• Damaged containers.

- The Loading Inspector will also be responsible for communicating with suppliers and coordinators and via telephone, email, and chat.- After inspection is complete, the inspector will provide the inspection report.Qualifications- Being Patient- Know how to take good photos with focus on details- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in photos and documents discrepancies- Experience in logistics, shipping, or transportation industry is a plus but not mandatory- Understanding of loading and shipping procedures is a plus but not mandatory- Familiarity with shipping documents such as Packing List and Bill of Lading is a plus- Good digital communication skills and knowledge of common office software skills- Ability to work independently and remotely and under international environment- English skills, Chinese is a Plus- Willingness to make short trips to locations nearby in case loading happens in factories around Port of Tanjung Pelepas.ResponsibilitiesWHAT IS CHECKED DURING THE INSPECTION?

• Product characteristics for tariff classification purposes.
