Job Overview:

We are looking for a well-presented and professional Front Desk team member to join our Japanese Omakase fine dining restaurant. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a warm and elegant welcome for every guest. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating, and ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure. Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a professional, polite, and genuine. Manage and coordinate all reservations via phone, messaging platforms, and online booking systems. Maintain an accurate reservation book, including special requests, dietary restrictions, and guest preferences. Handle walk-ins and waiting lists while maintaining guest satisfaction. Liaise closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow and accurate seating arrangements. Answer phone calls and guest inquiries in a courteous and timely manner. Provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu, omakase experience, promotions, and policies. Manage guest feedback professionally and escalate any issues to the manager when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting area. Assist with administrative or cashiering tasks when required.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; Diploma in Hospitality is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant and polished appearance. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Previous experience in fine dining, hospitality, or front of house reservation management is preferred. Familiarity with reservation systems or booking platforms is an advantage. Able to work in a service-focused environment with attention to detail. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
