Position Summary



The Front Office Assistant is responsible for delivering a warm and professional guest experience by handling check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries efficiently. This role supports the smooth operation of the Front Office by coordinating with other departments to meet guest needs, maintaining accurate records, and upholding the hotel's brand standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities



Guest Reception & Service



Welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude. Handle check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Confirm guest reservations, room assignments, and payment arrangements. Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, escalating issues when necessary. Provide accurate information on hotel facilities, promotions, and local attractions.

Reservation & Cashiering


6. Assist in making and amending guest reservations as required.
7. Ensure proper posting of room charges, payments, and adjustments in the PMS.
8. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods in compliance with hotel SOPs.
9. Maintain accurate shift reports and cash float balances.

Coordination & Communication


10. Liaise with Housekeeping for room status updates and special guest requests.
11. Coordinate with Bellman, Concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest service.
12. Log guest requests, complaints, and incidents in the daily handover report.

Administrative & Compliance


13. Verify guest identification and registration details according to hotel and legal requirements.
14. Maintain confidentiality of guest information at all times.
15. Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures as per hotel SOP.
16. Attend departmental briefings and training sessions as scheduled.

Job Types: Contract, Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
