Job Description


Fulfillment Associate will be responsible for providing reliable and high-quality operational support and consistently performing fulfillment related tasks including, but not limited to, accurately entering orders within the required timeframes for LexisNexis products and providing professional communication with internal and external customers. Role will report to Operations Manager. Ideal candidate must be able to own end-to-end fulfillment process and also be able to provide recommendations for improvements and be adaptable when changes are needed. The candidate must be detail oriented and be able to balance competing priorities.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring all orders, requests, enquiries and follow-ups with customers related to distribution are completed within the customer service level agreements on an ongoing basis. This is done through working closely and proactively with regional colleagues across business units and functions.
  • Order administration including e-speak, in connection with Fulfillment services
  • Customer facing support with direct customer contact when required.
  • Own the end to end fulfilment process and collaborate with various teams to ensure customer and business expectations are met.
  • Orders are entered and tracked within the required systems and contracts stored securely.
  • Assist with the processing of orders from initial review to invoicing. This includes, but is not limited to, basic order functions including order review, account creation, order processing and account maintenance in accordance with established business rules
  • Orders are screened for compliance.
  • Liaise with global teams to drive process improvements and issue resolution.
  • Reviewing processes with the aim to deliver efficiencies.
  • Effectively communicate with internal customers (i.e. Sales, Credit & Collection, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, etc.) fostering collaborative relationships among different teams
  • Reporting and general fulfillment and warehousing tasks
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of order management and similar work experience
  • Experience working with sales and marketing teams is essential
  • Results oriented and customer centric
  • Ability to function independently with a high degree of accuracy and accountability in a fast[1]paced environment
  • Solid negotiation skills and the ability to network effectively both internally and externally
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to remain detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Professional email writing and speaking skills necessary to communicate clearly and accurately both internally and externally
Recommended Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree holder or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com or understanding of pipeline management systems would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
