Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by managing end-to-end warehouse operations (receiving, inbound, putaway, picking, outbound)Ensure all B2B and B2C are fulfilled (picked, packed and dispatched) accurately within the agreed SLA
Familiar with warehouse management systems; use a system to manage warehouse,
results of all warehouse activities are properly logged into the system * Monitor system for issues and errors by warehouse staff, and resolve/escalate where necessary
Responsible for managing and maintaining all goods in storage - reconciliation of data in system to on-ground inventory
Manage day-to-day operations, including, but not limited to:Support all customer requests and requirements to achieve service level targets
Execution of operational tasks as and when needed, and implementing corrective actions where necessary
Manpower allocation and supervision of task completion
Primary information source for the warehouse team - communicate policies and maintain compliance and consistency
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
Conduct training for warehouse associates on latest processes
Operational Evaluation
Gather and interpret qualitative and quantitative data in order to identify operational issues and gaps, and provide solutions to improve efficiency and adherence to service levels
Monitor and review workflow, manpower and space requirements, equipment layout, consumables usage while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
Ensure that process documentation and training materials are updated as needed
Process Design and Improvement
Participate in warehousing design, establish and implement warehouse management procedures, quality control processes and various indicator systems
Continuously shape and improve existing warehouse
Operational processes with industry best practices, e.g. quality improvements, efficiency and process optimisation, cost reduction,
excellence; assess current warehouse operations and suggest improvements to better manage warehouse utilisation, inventory handling and storage processesKey Requirements
8 - 10 years of operations management experience, preferably in logistics/supply chain industry
Degree or equivalent, ideally in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Prior experience in a warehouse working on logistics operations
Candidate with contract logistics background is preferred
Understanding of B2B/B2C warehousing and fulfilment as a service
Capable to process new information on the go and be comfortable with ambiguity
Meticulous, detail-oriented and process driven
Highly organised and responsible individual
Strong people management skills
Willingness to work hands-on in a warehouse and help out with on-ground warehouse processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms)
