Job Description

Overview of the position:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end technologies. As a Java Developer, you will work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the seamless integration of APIs, the development of responsive web applications, and the implementation of robust server-side logic.

The role required to execute the below tasks and initiative:

Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of web applications. Able to build and implement new features, and ensure application/website are optimized for performance and security.

Technical Expertise:

Using modern technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g. Spring Thymeleaf, React, Vue.js). Build server-side logic with back-end technologies like Spring boot framework

API Development and Integration:

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between front-end and back-end services.Consume third-party APIs and ensure secure, scalable, and efficient API integrations.

Testing and Debugging:

Write unit and integration tests to ensure the functionality of web applicationsand APIs.Conduct performance testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness.

Team Collaboration:

Actively collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet users' requirements and expectations. Ensuring project is delivered on time and budget.

Documentation and Maintenance:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, APIs, integration processes, and technical solutions for internal reference and knowledge sharing.Ensure continuous application updates, bug fixes, and improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements and innovations to enhance the quality and performance of eCommerce solutions.

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on developing scalable web applications and integrating RESTful APIs. Proven expertise in delivering high-performance web applications and solutions. Familiar with

J2EE Programming, Spring Boot, Mircroservices , Thymeleaf, git, CSS, javacript, ajax, Google Cloud, Kurbenetes, CICD.

Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including experience with complex queries and integrating them into web applications. Hands-on experience with API integration (REST) and tools like Postman or Swagger. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
