Role overview

We are looking for an experienced & passionate Operational Excellence Leader, who will drive Operational Excellence in Global Data Office (GDO) and support implementation of GBS Operational Excellence programme in all Global Business Services (GBS) sites in Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Primary responsibility of GBS Operational Excellence Leader GDO & APAC will be leading improvement projects, supporting global processes standardization within GDO service tower and support GDO leaders and employees in their Operational Excellence journey.

As part of regional responsibility Operational Excellence Leader will support other GBS Service Towers in deployment of GBS Operational Excellence programme. This will include delivery of Operational Excellence trainings, mentoring Lean Six Sigma Green Belt projects and support local Champions in their Operational Excellence duties and assignments. Operational Excellence Leader will closely cooperate with GBS Strategy and Service Enablement team to assure consistent approach during GBS Operational Excellence programme implementation and continuous improvement and development of the programme.

Key Responsibilities

Service Tower responsibility

  • Lead improvement projects (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma)
  • Support business processes standardization & optimization
  • Support GDO service tower leaders & managers in Operational Excellence initiatives implementation
  • Promote & support structured problem resolution within GDO
  • Cooperate with external service provider (Genpact) in area of Operational Excellence
  • Support Visual Management implementation
  • Develop Operational Excellence capability & awareness within Service Tower
  • Promote improvement ideas generation & support its implementation
Regional responsibility
  • Delivery Operational Excellence trainings to Champions and Line Managers
  • Mentor & certify Champions Lean Six Sigma Green Belt projects
  • Support implementation and communication of GBS Operational Excellence programme
  • Report regional Operational Excellence statistics to GBS Strategy & Service Enablement team
  • Cooperate with GBS Strategy & Service Enablement team in order to develop the GBS Operational Excellence programme
Qualifications

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Finance)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Working knowledge of the Lean Tools (VSM, Kaizen, etc.), DMAIC
  • Demonstrated experience in leading business process standardization & improvement projects
  • Demonstrated experience in Operational Excellence trainings delivery and mentoring of improvement projects
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
  • Effective internal consulting skills with all levels of management
  • Proficiency Microsoft Excel, Visio, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
Desirable
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • 10+ years' experience in Lean/Six Sigma projects and programs in international environment
  • Project Management Certification (PRINCE2, PMI)
  • Working knowledge of Agile and/or Theory of Constraints
  • Knowledge of MS Power Apps, Mini-tab
