Performing daily banking, involving the collection of banking envelopes from safes, and the opening, counting and balancing as a whole.
Processing petty cash as required and reconciled daily/weekly. Prepare weekly petty cash summary for reimbursement to float.
Preparing over and under, balance monthly and present to Assistant Director of Finance & Business Support.
Issuing and returning house bank contracts as required and prepare house bank accounts summary on a monthly basis.
Processing due backs daily.Developing and maintaining current payroll processing procedures.
Performing payroll processing and month end closing of payroll.
Ensuring overtime claims are supported by proper approval and authorization.
Preparing input for payroll run including hours worked, terminations, adjustments, annual, sick and recreation leave.
Verifying the leave entitlement for all leave requests prior to approval.
Preparing monthly/yearly internal manpower analysis report.
Supervising filing of payroll reports.
Journalizing payroll summary each month.
Examines tax returns of the year.
Preparing all payments and submission to local authority on the specific timing
What We Need From You
For you to be the ideal candidate, you should have the following:
Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of related work experience.
Prior experience in hospitality industry preferred.
Able to communicate with team members.
Must speak English and Bahasa Malaysia.
