Our Client is a conglomerate company with diversified businesses.1. JOB PURPOSE
A pivotal role in leading and driving the implementation of our client\'s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategic roadmap for entire group and across 4 diverse business divisions. This position is instrumental in ensuring that our client\'s Group aligns with and exceeds industry sustainability standards, fostering a culture of responsibility and ethical business practices.2. KNOWLEDGE & SKILL
a. Education / Professional Qualification
Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Business Sustainability, etc.).
Master\'s degree and professional qualifications preferred.b. Professional Experience

• At least 20 years of relevant experience in leading and implementing sustainability and ESG strategies within a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of industry best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to sustainability.
• Knowledge and exposure in core ESG issues within agro-based / manufacturing / retail sectors.

1. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across diverse business divisions and geographical locations.
2. Proficient in collaborating with finance, HR, and operations to ensure holistic integration of sustainability principles.
3. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
4. Strong listening and communication skills, both orally and written, interpersonal & research skills.
5. Adaptable to fast-paced environments, with a self-motivated and independent work style.d. Technical1. Familiar with the various reporting standards and frameworks including the FTSE4Good, GRI standards, SASB and the ISSB\'s proposed standards.
2. Strong understanding of the global sustainability landscape, including reporting and transparency trends and evolving legislation.
3. Stay updated of evolving sustainability regulations and standards.
4. Demonstrated project management skills and have great written and presentation skills.3. Key Accountabilities:1. Lead and drive the development and execution of the Group\'s sustainability and ESG strategic roadmap.
2. Advise and implement the integration of sustainability principles into the core business divisions.
3. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to garner support and alignment with sustainable and ESG initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, NGOs, and regulatory bodies.
4. Develop detailed implementation plans for sustainable and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and driving the execution of sustainability programs across business divisions.
5. Accountable for overall sustainability disclosures in our client\'s annual sustainability report.
6. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KP|s) to track the progress and impact of sustainability initiatives, and regularly report on sustainability performance to Sustainability Steering Committee
7. Stay updated of evolving sustainability regulations and standards and ensure the Group\'s compliance with relevant sustainability and ESG requirements.
8. Design and deliver educational programs and training sessions to build awareness and capacity regarding sustainable and ESG practices.
9. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in sustainable and ESG practices.
10. Identify opportunities for the organisation to enhance its environmental and social impact positively.
