Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide strategic leadership and oversight of the company's operations, ensuring optimal performance across all departments. The General Manager drives operational excellence, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads business development initiatives to support sustainable growth and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals.

2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure financial sustainability.

3. Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.

4. Oversee execution of oil and gas projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality.

5. Ensure readiness and optimal utilization of equipment, fleet, and workforce.

6. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across all departments.

7. Manage procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations.

8. Resolve operational challenges to minimize downtime and maintain project continuity.

9. Ensure full compliance with local and international oil & gas regulations.

10. Promote a strong HSE culture and oversee safety performance.

11. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure legal and environmental standards are met.

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
2.Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
3.At least 5 years in senior management or GM-level position in oil & gas industry.
4.Proven track record in managing offshore operations, marine logistics, or upstream/downstream projects.
4.Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
5. Commercial acumen in contract negotiation, tender management, and financial oversight.
6.Familiar with local and international oil & gas regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
