Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our Capital Management operations in Malaysia. The GM will oversee the companys overall performance, drive business growth, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage client and stakeholder relationships. This role is crucial in shaping the firms strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibility :

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

Drive the firm's overall strategy and growth in the U.S. capital markets, with a primary focus on Nasdaq IPOs. Identify, source, and secure mandates from high-potential clients (particularly from Asia) looking to list on Nasdaq.

Project Management of IPO Transactions

Oversee the end-to-end IPO advisory process, including pre-IPO readiness, regulatory preparation (SEC filings, S-1), due diligence, and roadshow planning. Ensure timelines and regulatory milestones are met in collaboration with legal, audit, and internal team

Operational & Team Leadership

Lead a lean, high-performing team including analysts, project managers, and associates. Build internal SOPs and workflows to ensure smooth project execution across concurrent IPO deals.

Brand Building & Thought Leadership

Represent the firm at conferences, webinars, and client events.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field (MBA/CFA is preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in capital markets, fund management, or investment banking, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. In-depth understanding of financial services landscape and capital markets. Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Salary: basic + performance bonus up to RM15k and above
