Job Description


The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and commercial aspects of the mall. The GM ensures the smooth operation of all mall activities, drives revenue growth, maintains tenant satisfaction, and enhances customer experience. This role involves managing teams, coordinating with tenants, maintaining property standards, and ensuring the mall remains a popular and profitable destination for shoppers.

  • Develop & manage annual budget for the mall, ensuring profitability and cost control
  • Develop short-, mid- and long-term strategies for the mall\'s growth and success
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve operational and financial goals
  • Monitor financial performance and provide regular financial and operational reports to senior management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the mall, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and standards
  • Manage and coordinate with the maintenance, security, cleaning and landscaping teams to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
  • Ensure that facilities, infrastructure and equipment are properly maintained and upgraded
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue through leasing opportunities, events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Negotiate lease agreements, renewals and other contractual matters.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive foot traffic and enhance customer experience
  • Monitor market trends and customers preferences to ensure that the mall remains competitive and relevant
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement and customer service excellence
Leadership role|Be a part of a growing organization
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management or related field
  • At least 18+ years of experience in retail mall management experience , at least more than 3 years in a senior management role
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, P&L and financial performance
  • Candidates with strong leasing background in a mall environment are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Mobile and able to relocate within West Malaysia
