The General Manager will lead the overall business operations and strategic direction of the company, which provides intelligent property rental management solutions powered by technology. This role is responsible for driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through innovative property management systems. The GM will oversee daily operations, manage cross-functional teams, and execute strategic initiatives that position the company as a leader in smart property rental technology.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategy & Commercial
Define and execute business strategies aligned with Octovis' mission and market expansion plans.
Lead the development of new services, features, and partnerships tailored to ASEAN markets.
Translate business goals into operational outcomes with measurable KPIs.
2. Client Success & Growth
Drive sales and adoption of Octovis' AI-powered rental platform among landlords, operators, and developers.
Own high-level customer engagements, enterprise negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure exceptional service delivery, onboarding experience, and client satisfaction.
3. Operation & Technical Oversight
Oversee the execution of technology-driven operations; including platform automation, integration, and platform analytics.
Optimise end-to-end service workflows to ensure cost-effectiveness and scale readiness.
Identify process improvements and digital automation opportunities across the business.
4. Financial Management
Manage P&L and ensure sustainable revenue growth.
Develop forecasts, monitor financial performance, and align resources for maximum ROI.
Lead business reporting and updates to the board and key stakeholders.
5. Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team aligned with company goals.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and operational standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Tech or equivalent.
8-12 years' experience in business operations, project management, or SaaS/PaaS.
Proven ability to lead commercial and operational strategies, ideally in technology company.
Familiarity with rental market dynamics, digital contracts, IoT integrations, and AI-powered platforms.
Strong track record in revenue growth, financial performance, and strategic execution.
Comfortable engaging both C-level stakeholders and ground-level operations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
RM7,000 - RM10,000 of basic salary (Remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualification)
Statutory Contribution: EPF + SOCSO + EIS
WORKING HOUR: Monday - Friday; 9.00am - 6.00pm
