Job Purpose:

To lead and oversee the entire factory operations in Johor Bahru, ensuring optimal performance across production, quality control, maintenance, inventory & logistics, safety, JB Sales Team and workforce management. The General Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement while aligning with corporate goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and delivery timelines are met. Lead and manage cross-functional teams across production, engineering, maintenance, QA/QC, warehouse, and HR. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost control. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards; drive audits and corrective actions. Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize factory performance. Coordinate supply chain and logistics activities to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery. Foster collaboration with the sales team to align production output with customer demand and business goals. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management; MBA preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing (building materials preferred), including 5 years in senior management.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Proven experience in lean manufacturing, process optimization, and team development.

Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a focus on operational excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM16,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
