About The Job General Manager (Telecommunications) Our client is the premier regional provider of network engineering services and supplier of specialized telecommunication products. They design, build and manage telecommunication networks and provide cost effective solutions to address the network infrastructure need of fixed and mobile operators in APAC Key function Responsible for the full company P&L. You will work with all division managers and assume leadership role in developing and executing business plans that will solidify the Company as leader in the Telecommunication and ICT industry. Responsible for attainment of assigned margin contribution targets, revenue and expense commitments, as well as the profitability of the contracts/projects. Create a cohesive team environment. Remain focused on building profits, improving operating efficiency and positioning the Company for growth. Develop, implement and review comprehensive business plans for all departments. Managing the customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers and establish new ones with potential customers. Facilitate and support ramp up activities in Malaysia Projects/Businesses Qualifications Minimum 10 years in Telecommunications and ICT related industry Good understanding of the wireless communication and ICT industry, and the functional role of each business model within the industry. Having Power Solution and Data Centre experience and knowledge will be advantage. Excellent business building and management skill and experience, with a fundamental understanding of how to run a successful business and a thorough understanding of profit and loss. Excellent people skills, enthusiastic leader and team builder. At least a minimum knowledge of key financial functions. This would include the ability to measure and review an organisations financial health from Balance Sheet and Income Statement Information. The ability to give an organisation its vision, and the ability to translate that vision into reality, drawing others into that vision. A consistent career track record of exceeding and improving business productivity and profit objectives. Able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malayu Knowledge in Power System, Wifi, Broadband Network, and ICT solutions ecosystem will be advantage.
