Job Description

\xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out and supervise field exploration works aiming at evaluation mineral resources relating to tin, ore, gold, and other minerals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Works shall compile reconnaissance survey, geological mapping and sampling, geochemical/geophysical survey, pitting and trenching and drilling. \xe2\x80\xa2 Data compilation, computation and reporting related to the exploration works and included in the job scope. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in the initial field appraisal of new exploration projects and formulating work programme. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure that field operations are implemented according to plan and schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 To capture, acquire and log field information and data related to exploration work. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure all exploration results and data obtained in the field are properly and accurately documented. \xe2\x80\xa2 To prepare routine of weekly / monthly reports. Key Responsibilities to have: \xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out mineral exploration at rural area. \xe2\x80\xa2 To do mineral/core description. \xe2\x80\xa2 To do mapping at site. \xe2\x80\xa2 To identify and do sample collection. \xe2\x80\xa2 To analyze and evaluate geology data. Requirement \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor of Science with Honours (Geology) or related discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in AutoCAD QGIS and Evaluation Software such as Micromine (Mining Software) and / or other related software will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferably working experience in Exploration / Mining Company. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of spoken and written English / Malay. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess own transport with a valid driving license.
