Job Description

The primary role of GL Controller is to support partnership with the Intercompany Accountants for daily operations and to ensure timely and accurate general ledger data entry and providing reports to management to identify improvement opportunities. The role requires to support EUROPE working hours.

• Apply fundamental accounting theories and concepts to support the business operations and day to day accounting needs.
• Lead and oversee intercompany period-end activities to be performed with deadlines and according to company\'s Standards.
• Review and supervise work of ICO Accountants all scope covering ICO processing, settlement, recharges and billing within and out of the region.
• Ensure completeness of monthly ICO recharges transactions which include cross charge to/from intercompany partners and reconciling intercompany balance within and / or across the region.
• Ensure execution and posting of foregin currency revaluation before period closing.
• Constantly ensuring team members complete development goal adhering to regional dateline set.
• Adherence to agreed SLAs.

• Degree in accounting and/or recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum12 years experience in financial accounting
• Must be meticulous, superior analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to supervise a group of Senior ICO Accountants and ICO Accountants.
• Proven senior accounting experience.
• Ability to drive business improving processes and performance
• SAP FI/CO experience is an advantage
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively
