Job Description
Location: Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur
s:
- To ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly financial reports and quarterly budget follow-up reports.
- Ensure/reconcile balance sheet items monthly and update as per the pre-defined template.
- Prepare/Ensure monthly financial reporting to stakeholder are sent punctually (hard copies if required)
- Liaise with and respond to queries pertaining to groups from various entities within SLA.
- Review reports for discrepancies (including analytic review) before submission to Management Centers.
- Maintaining a proper filing for financial statements, budgets, correspondences, and others
- Preparing funds request to vessel owners and updating funds schedule monthly.
- To follow up with appropriate parties in case of non-receipt of monthly operation funds.
- Ensure sufficient funds are available for payment of invoices etc
- To take appropriate action in case of insufficient funds
- To complete tasks as per the internal control framework.
- Support and provide guidance to group members pertaining to daily operations and department matters.
- Assist the Accounts Manager in any ad hoc task which may arise.
- Degree in accounting and/or finance or equivalent in a professional accounting body
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field
- Good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
- Good management and analytical skills
- Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines
