What you\'ll be doing: Report directly into Group CFO - the Global Director of Procurement will design and execute global procurement and sourcing strategies across the Global Procurement function; oversee the execution and implementation of various strategic procurement transformation and project initiatives. The successful incumbent will lead the centralized procurement teams, support in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to bring about the greatest benefits to the business and streamline the process whilst ensuring compliance of all procurement activities and administration functions. Key responsibilities are outlined below:- Work in conjunction with CFO and key stakeholders to formulate and implement group procurement strategies and procedures, advocate and sell the procurement agenda, and realize the value propositions of global procurement function, overseeing the group function and ultimately enhance the overall efficiency of procurement. Driving procurement strategy and lead the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions with all Vendors, and major heavy spends in construction of outlets (fitting out/contracts, renovation, kitchen equipment, technology spent, , general operating etc., maintain an effective and efficient operations as well as short and long term planning of the procurement functions Lead & manage key vendors relationship across various markets and negotiate commercial terms for National/ Regional/ Global contracts or agreement Work with stakeholders to help drive standardization of products, good and services. Liaise, work and partner with and communicate regularly and effectively with senior leadership stakeholders to ensure alignment on group direction Develop and implement centralized global procurement processes, policies and procedures Lead the end-to-end procurement processes for tendering, quotation, negotiation, all the way to contracting and vendor review. Ensure policies and standards are in full compliance with the existing procurement framework and ethical practices are enforced in all procurement-related dealings and activities. Strengthen proper procurement governance and controls for risk mitigation purposes, whilst ensuring procurement performance KPIs and service level agreement (SLAs) are met. Review and develop processes to streamline and enhance the procurement practices, as well as mitigating the third party risk. Continuously review, improve, and streamline existing procurement processes via the usage of technology solutions to ensure effective and efficient operations. Develop and roll out standard operating documents via internal and external team meetings and workshops. Lead and motivate the team to maximize individual and overall performance and create an environment of flexibility and continuous improvement through effective communication, regular performance feedback, and implementation of training and development opportunities. About you: Proven strategic procurement experience, strong negotiating skills, and demonstrated ability to deliver procurement and sourcing value propositions Robust track-record and experience delivering benefits and value propositions of procurement and sourcing functions in a global environment Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, business administration, procurement, or a related field. Candidate with Quantity Surveying background with exposure to construction and technology and retail industries would be an advantage Proven leadership skills in a dynamic and demanding environment and managing a sizable global purchasing team. The ability to draft and review contracts that adhere to company policies and bring value to the organization. Sound knowledge of ERP / IT systems to support procurement activity would be highly preferable Good planning and project management skills and ability to identify user requirements and lead change programs High level of integrity, work ethics and good moral values Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to establish, influence, and maintain collaborative relationship with a broad range of internal and external parties and stakeholders Fluency in English is mandatory
