Job Description

As an IT Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives within assigned IT software categories. You will be involved in the source-to-contract process for these categories.

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for IT software / hardware category, focusing on optimizing spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead the source-to-contract process, including sourcing projects, negotiate with suppliers, review contracts and make tactical purchasing decisions while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Work closely with global IT and business project teams to prepare and execute strategic initiatives effectively.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in category management, procurement, or sourcing, specifically within IT categories.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of managing supplier relationships especially with IT vendors such as Adobe, Microsoft, Workday etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage regional stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in SAP Ariba / ERP is a plus
