SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

• Global Mobility Advisor
• Working at Johor Bahru, Malaysia

As an Global Mobility Advisor you will be the central point of the contact to the country HR and to the employees, who are undertaking international assignments. This role combines operational & strategic aspects of international mobility policies and process.


You will be responsible for providing global mobility-related services to business units, country HR, and international assignees in the area of international assignment and cost management policy, expatriate policy, relocation, tax compliance including tax equalization process, immigration, employment, social security, and payroll compliance. WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING:

• Manage the regional mobility policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal, immigration, tax, and local employment regulations.
• Act as the primary resource of information on immigration, tax, employment regulations, and International Assignment policies and processes.
• Coordinate with respective country HR, Payroll, Finance, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of international assignments
• Ensure the compensation package and benefit for the international assignment are relevant and aligned across the region
• Ensure the movement of assignees is accurately captured and updated in the HRIS \xe2\x80\x93 SAP, Excelity, etc.
• Produce relevant reports and analysis.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED:

• Minimum five years of experience in managing global Mobility.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on in managing cross-border mobility services.
• Strong customer service orientation and management skills.
• Ability to work at both operational and strategic levels.
• Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
• Ability to translate the technical nature of mobility requirements (immigration, international taxation) for clear stakeholder understanding,
