POSITION SUMMARY The Global Strategic Account Executive is responsible for driving strategic direction at large, global, multi-site named accounts in the energy sector (Oil & Gas, Rechargeable Battery, Renewables) to satisfy customer needs while protecting and growing our business. This will include growth targets for new business and expansion of the current base business. While having individual sales targets, the position requires one to create and engage virtual teams from across our organization to ensure successful creation of digital demand, strategic alignment and closing of sales opportunities and where appropriate, the development and/or management of industry dedicated distributors. The successful candidate should have a clear understanding of Enterprise Software, connectivity, mobility, and hosted technologies as they apply to customer applications and profitable business models for our customers. The role requires leadership, large account management experience, strong internal and external interpersonal skills to effectively work with Enterprise Laboratory Management systems.
