We are looking for a Production Designer to help shape the future of Cricut\xe2\x80\x99s brand through our packaging and in-store retail channels. As the graphic production designer, you will work with our team to create packaging and creative assets for new product launches, brand campaigns, and other initiatives. Your work will help us delight our customers to lead creative lives through our products and services. Our Ideal Candidate

• A fantastic graphic production designer with exceptional artisanship and attention to detail (primarily print with some digital)
• Think systematically to optimize quality and efficiency
• Understand the nuances of print production considerations and best practices
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, problem solve and multi-task
• Comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines
• Have thorough knowledge of the print production process, including practical implementation, to effectively gauge workloads and deadline expectations

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with designers, copywriters, and CDs/ADs to develop templates and execute instances of those templates
• QA (Quality Assurance) all print files for release to print (packaging and retail signage)
• QA print proofs
• Help develop and QA die lines with partners
• Generate Bar codes / QR codes
• Create several instances of children files from parent files
• Make updates to existing files
• Manage language translation requests with partners
• Continually adopt new tools and practices as the work evolves
• Knowledge of print production processes

Qualifications

• 
  3-4 years of experience in related roles as a Print Production Artist
• Extremely detail oriented with an acute eye for color accuracy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to demonstrate integrity, maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
• Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Highly self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, able to navigate project complexities on your own
• Thrives in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple priority projects simultaneously and consistently maintain on-time deliverables
• Works quickly & efficiently and displays organizational skills
• Ability to build effective both internal and external relationships
