Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure product availability and freshness.
Conduct regular stock checks, manage stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and minimize shrinkage.
Monitor product positioning, shelf labeling, and promotional displays for compliance and appeal.
Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and ensure staff adherence to standard operating procedures.
Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork.
Conduct onboarding and continuous training for new and existing staff on product knowledge, SOPs, and customer service.
Utilize ERP and inventory systems to manage stock transactions, ordering, and reporting.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock movement, sales, wastage, and team productivity.
Use system insights to support decision-making and stock control accuracy.
Ensure the grocery section is clean, safe, and fully operational.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in retail grocery operations.
Proven skills in customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision.
Understand ERP systems and inventory software.
Knowledge of visual merchandising, planograms, and category layout grouping.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding retail environment.
