Job Title:

Supervisor - Grocery Department

Job Summary:



The Grocery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grocery section. This includes managing stock levels, ensuring attractive displays, maintaining product quality, and providing excellent customer service. The Supervisor also leads and supports the team to meet sales goals and uphold store standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise daily activities in the grocery section. Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled. Monitor product freshness, expiry dates, and rotation of stock. Coordinate with suppliers and assist in ordering and receiving goods. Train, guide, and supervise grocery staff in their duties. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the department. Assist customers with inquiries and product information. Monitor sales and help achieve departmental targets. Prepare daily or weekly reports on stock and sales performance.

Requirements:



2+ years of experience in supermarket or grocery retail operations. Strong knowledge of grocery products and inventory management. Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks. Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,050.00 per month
