An exciting Group Finance Manager job has just become available at one of the MNC companies based in Petaling Jaya.

About the Group Finance Manager Role:
As the Group Finance Manager, you will be involved in research and analyses as assigned for use in the development of business strategies. Prepares statistical studies and economic forecast of business conditions and trends and draws relevant conclusions .

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidelines for standard cost approaches used in business decisions, establishes and monitors cost reduction programmes
• Provide direction to functional counterparts in operating unit as required and to operating and senior management on matter involving cost determination problems, or issues such as inventory valuation, distribution of overhead, treatment of joint cost and product pricing
• Conduct special studies and analyses such as determination of work in house or subcontracts and cost impact of proposed facilities or processes
• Identify and investigate issues related to assigned project. Select approach from accepted body of methodology or recommended alternatives
• Define assumptions for the quantification and analysis of investments, acquisitions, or divestitures
• Participate in the development of long range financial forecast and related budgets, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate
• Submit findings and interpretation review

To succeed in this Group Finance Manager role, you must be a high- energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in business/finance/accounting/investment/economics
• At least five years of work experience, with at least three years in a leadership role
• Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
