: Job Purpose *
The Cloud DevOps Engineer role reports directly to the VP of Solution Delivery & Cloud Engineering. As the Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices to support our software development and deployment processes. This role focuses on optimizing system performance, ensuring high availability, and automating workflows to enable efficient continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). The Cloud DevOps Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, leveraging cloud platforms and DevOps tools to streamline operations and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities *Primary Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud service providers. Set up and configure virtual machines, containers, and networking components to support the organization\'s applications and services.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment processes. Ensure rapid and reliable releases of software applications and services.
• Automation and Orchestration: Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources. Implement scripting and automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, resource utilization, and application health. Identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization to enhance system scalability and responsiveness.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard data and applications in the cloud environment. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.
• Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure, working collaboratively with other teams to minimize downtime and restore services promptly.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes to ensure efficient resource utilization and scalability.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery: Set up and maintain backup and disaster recovery mechanisms to protect data and ensure business continuity in case of emergencies.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud resource usage and implement cost optimization strategies to manage cloud infrastructure expenses effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams, QA, and IT operations to foster a collaborative DevOps culture, streamline workflows, and improve overall delivery processes.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new cloud technologies, tools, and services to enhance the cloud DevOps ecosystem and drive continuous improvement.
• Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to team members and stakeholders, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving cloud-related issues.
• Performance and Security Audits: Conduct regular performance and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and share knowledge and best practices with the team to foster continuous learning and growth.

Job Specification *Qualifications(Basic Degree/Diploma etc)Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science
• Bachelor degree in Information System

Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirementsRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
Relevant Work Experience

• At least ten (6) years experience developing and implementing complex IT infrastructure solution.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
