Job Purpose *

The Business Analyst/PM will analyse business requirements, project issues, produce project artefacts (such as Business Requirements Documents), translating business requirements into technical requirements. He/She will work on the Next Generation BizChannel project focusing on Cash Management System; which will run on the Agile methodology.

Key Responsibilities *

Understanding requirements * Ability to solicit and elicit requirements from business and technology units

  • Understand business priorities, documenting requirements and determining solutions in partnership with the vendors and/or internal teams
  • Assess design requirement and its fitness in the existing architecture environment in comply with the enterprise architecture standards.
  • Gather, analyse and develop requirements specification and establish operational scenarios and concepts for vendor developed applications
  • Ability to define user stories and have purview on features and functionalities for Cash Management System including but not limited to payroll, payments, collections, etc.
  • Liase with Compliance, Risk and control functions to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements
Coordinate High Level Solutioning * Develop and coordinate the documentation of the High Level Solutions including Business Requirements Documentation
  • Establish user stories for the different features and functionalities within the Cash Management System
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a Scrum team to develop High Level Solutions and map out customer journeys if required
  • Work collaboratively with solution developers to ensure technical solution meets customer requirements and leads to user satisfaction.
  • Liasing with technology teams to ensure the requirements are understood and that functional and design proposals are fit for purpose
Project Management * Develop and maintain the project plan either independently or in collaboration with other teams
  • Track and maintain Change Request documentation to ensure traceability
  • Identify and communicate key project risks, defining mitigation strategies and managing resolution
  • Identify and communicate inter-project dependencies to stakeholders and other project team members
  • Organise and deliver functional presentation in stakeholder meetings
Job Specification *

Qualifications

(Basic Degree/Diploma etc.)
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements
  • Certified PMP / Prince 2 / Agile, preferably with Scrum Master knowledge and/or certification
Relevant Work Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project implementation, digital solutions and platforms, etc.
  • Exposure to large scale business transformation project is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework and experience in Cash Management System implementation within the financial sectors

  • Good understanding on the stated business domain with proven track record in solutioning for large scale programs and projects.
  • Understands all dimensions of system design, including performance, scalability, release-management, industry technologies, upgrade path, costs of ownership for the overall solution.
  • Experience to create robust, sustainable architecture that supports requirements and provides for scalability given budgetary constraints and user requirements.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Team Leadership, dynamics and a good team player.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
