Assist in Halal Certification Matters

Prepare and maintain documents required for JAKIM or relevant halal certification applications and renewals. Ensure all records are up to date and compliant with halal requirements.

Coordinate with Halal Committee and Internal Departments

Support the Halal Committee in meetings, audits, and inspections. Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure all ingredients and processes meet halal standards.

Assist in Staff Training and Awareness

Conduct or help organize halal awareness training for employees. Educate staff on halal policies, SOPs, and any updates from JAKIM.

Support in Internal and External Halal Audits

Prepare documents and reports for internal halal audits. Assist auditors during halal certification audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for halal-related matters. Prepare monthly or quarterly halal compliance reports for management review.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Halal Management, Islamic Studies, or related field. Knowledge of

MS 1500:2019 Halal Standard

and

JAKIM guidelines

preferred. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently. Experience in food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
