Setting up HALAL SOP and HALAL manual and review from time to time to ensure information up to date.
To assist for the company\xe2\x80\x99s application and renewal (outlet and new menu) of Halal Certification.
To Lead in HALAL internal and external audit.
To assist and perform Halal Awareness Training and other Halal activities as instructed by company.
Manage the Document Control System for all documents used within the organization for all Quality Management System (QMS), HAMS and FSMS; encourage usage and implementation of procedures.
To ensure all products are obtained HALAL certification and within the validity period.
Liaise with regulatory and certification bodies for all accreditations and compliance matters.
Maintain knowledge and awareness of applicable food regulations, guidelines and standards for both domestic and export markets.
Responsible for application of Halal certification for all required products within short lead time that given.
Any other duties as instructed by the company.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Food Biotechnology or equivalent.
At least 2 years working experiences in F&B / food manufacturing industry.
Possess Halal Executive certificate issued by recognized Halal Training Provider by HPB (Halal Professional Board) and JAKIM.
Strong food knowledge with hands-on experience in restaurant operations particularly in back-of-house functions including halal requirements, food planning, food preparation, food hygiene, and food safety.
Connected to industry trends and equipped with good understanding of industry standards including ISO, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, etc.
