We are looking for someone with:

Proven working experience in Digital Marketing and/or Brand and Comms, and with at least 10-12 years experience.

Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns

Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital channel.

Understanding and experience in MarTech.

Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind.

Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers.

Outstanding communication skills.

Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practice

On the job you will:

Lead and develop a team of high performing and creative Brand team.

Conceptualize, develop, and build integrated marketing strategies and to support organizational brand building and engagement campaign.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring projects keep moving, ensures consistency and accuracy in the work, that projects are kept on budget, on strategy, and are routed through the appropriate channels for execution.

Advocate new ideas and approaches, within the brand tone and voice, to keep our brand evolving and helping connect the dots for our consumers, ultimately delivering brand promise and brand experience.

Ensure programming, activations, and partnerships (internal and external) are maximized, while staying consistent with brand standards and objectives.

Have a keen eye for creative and design and the ability to identify and provide feedback on brand building conceptual and design work from both internal creative teams and agency partners.

Think at the strategic level to make the appropriate brand decisions, while executing tactically

Provide brand direction and management/oversight for creative imagery during both photo/video production

Own and manage both organization and distribution of brand photography, video, and creative assets.

Provide direction and assistance with writing for brand strategy, creative/strategic briefs, naming, and campaign elements as needed.

Become a subject matter expert (SME) on all things brand at Manulife and steward the ongoing development of brand initiatives across the company.

Lead multiple projects across channels simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Develop and execute communications strategies to include issues and crisis plans, issues/crisis management, and outreach strategies.

Manage industry media relations and executive visibility.

Serve as chief writer and editor for the organisation and hold responsibility for speech writing, bylined articles, briefing materials and press materials.

Develop and drive ESG strategies and build thought leadership in ESG as key competitive advantage in the industry.

Network and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously understand/ identify current and emerging issues/ concerns related to ESG as well as continuously provide effective advice/ solutions and strengthen ESG proposition of Manulife Malaysia.

Overseeing the planning and organizing of Corporate events such as Corporate galas, Corporate Townhalls and conferences.

Creation of unique event engagement experience and continue to deliver event NPS above 80points.
