Requirements:i. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field; a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or
relevant professional certifications (ACII, CPCU, etc.) is advantageous.
ii. Experience in claims management within the reinsurance industry.
iii. Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts (both facultative and treaty), claims reserving, and
reinsurance recoveries.
iv. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
v. Strong financial acumen and understanding of claims\' impact on underwriting profitability.
vi. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities. Scopes:Job Scope: -1. Develop and implement the company\xe2\x80\x99s claims strategy in line with overall business objectives;
2. Lead, mentor, and manage the claims team to ensure best-in-class claims handling and processing;
3. Foster relationships with reinsurance partners, brokers, and clients to streamline claims processes;
4. Oversee the claims portfolio, including complex and high-value claims across various lines of business
(property, casualty, specialty);
5. Evaluate, analyze, and authorize claims settlements, ensuring proper assessment of losses, validation,
and application of reinsurance terms;
6. Manage facultative and treaty claims notifications and settlements in compliance with reinsurance
contracts;
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations relating to claims
handling;
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and emerging trends in claims management;
9. Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior management on claims performance, trends, and
financial impact;
10. Analyze claims data to identify patterns, losses, and opportunities for process improvement. Experience Required: Min 5 Year/s
