Head of Humanities Knewton Global Schools Miri is located on the northern shore of the island of Borneo in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. Our campus is home to both a British International and a National Private School, caring for around 450 students ranging in age from 3 to 16 and hailing from a multitude of nationalities and cultural backgrounds. Children aged eleven to sixteen are offered a modified British curriculum including iGCSEs at the International Secondary School. We seek an experienced and skilled leader who will drive the Humanities Department ahead. The successful candidate will:

• Inspire students and ensure a high-quality learning experience;
• Develop, implement and deliver a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum in the Humanities subjects across the Secondary School ;
• Be independent, self-motivated, and proactive in enriching the curriculum and developing wider school initiatives;
• Assess, record and report on the progress, development and attainment of students to support their learning;
• Keep up to date with the latest research and developments in the Humanities;
• Take a full and active role in supporting extracurricular activities and delivering the School\xe2\x80\x99s Guiding statement and development plans.
