• The Head of IT is responsible for leading and managing the IT department, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across the organization.
• This role involves strategic planning, overseeing IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, and supporting various business units with technological solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Strategic IT Planning:

• Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company\'s goals and objectives.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the organization.
• Lead IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.

2. IT Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of the company\'s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software.
• Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems and services.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

3. Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security of the company\'s IT systems and data, implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.
• Promote collaboration and communication within the IT team and with other departments.

5. Support and Service Management:

• Oversee the IT support function, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Implement and manage IT service management processes, such as incident, problem, and change management.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with IT services.

6. Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Monitor IT expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings.

7. Data Management and Analytics:

• Oversee data management practices, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security.
• Implement data analytics solutions to support business decision-making

JOB REQUIREMENTS:\xe2\x80\x8b

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Min 10 \xe2\x80\x93 15 years of experience in IT Strategic Planning/ Infrastructure Management
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably in a shared service or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure, systems and applications
• Experience with IT project management and implementations
• Excellent understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Must be self-motivated with excellent leadership, and team management skils
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
