Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic and Legal Advisory

• Advise the Management and Board on legal, compliance and governance issues, and provide strategic recommendations/action plans
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in the execution and implementation of recommendations/action plans which aligned with legal strategies and business goals/objectives

Legal Risk Management

• Identify and assess the legal risks associated with business operations and activities, and propose appropriate mitigation strategies and plans
• Collaborate with business and support units to proactively manage legal risks including addressing legal challenges and minimize potential risks

Legal Strategies and Regulatory Compliance

• Formulate and implement legal strategies which aligned with the Group\'s objectives
• Stay abreast of industry-specific legal issues and trends, as well as changes in laws and regulations
• Ensure the Group\'s compliance with all legal requirements and provide guidance to the Group on potential impacts

Legal Awareness and Compliance Culture

• Drive and facilitate legal awareness and a culture of compliance throughout the organization
• Ensure all employees understand and adhere to the relevant policies and legal/regulatory standards
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in developing effective strategies and implementation plans to improve internal compliance and control framework
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to promote legal awareness and compliance culture across the Group

Leadership and Team Development

• Head and manage the legal department, including monitoring and supervising team members\' work, progress and development
• Lead and strengthen the technical and commercial awareness among team members
• Foster and support a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Develop the skills and capabilities of team members to ensure effective support to the organization

Dispute Resolution

• Manage and oversee litigation matters and dispute resolution processes
• Work closely with external counsels, when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
• Experienced in property and corporate transactions
• High professionalism, ethics and integrity with the ability to anticipate legal issues and potential risks
• Experienced in senior leadership and management of an organization/team in legal function
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
